I think that Austin ingested enough to last him a couple months at least....everytime I turned around he was stuffing another gumdrop or m&m in his mouth. Yuck. All the sugary frosting was just getting to me!
Anyways, this year I think we have the cutest house ever. We've perfected the coconut grass (a first this year).

Here's Austins showing off the finished product and his giant gingerbread pirate boy (notice the black fake m&m as an eye patch! Notice the somber (post too much sugar) look. He wanted more, more, more candy and we wouldn't let him have any more!
And, for your viewing pleasure, another video of my child once again ingesting tooth rotting candy! (do you think we have a pattern going here?)

Oh my gosh, yours is grgeous! We just did ours and it is a wreck! We did eat alot of candy, though! and that frosting is hard to get off once it dries!Lisa
oops, need to spell check...
I think that it Mary-Mia's bad influence on Austin, teaching him to put chocolate and candy off to the side. Even if she didn't teach him, just blame her anyway! The house is adorable.
OK, I was laughing so loud when I watched that video and then I saw Lisa's comment and now I am just dying!!!!
The house is amazing. You could enter it in a contest or something and win us all a fabulous trip to Jamaica or somewhere warm and sunny.
Oh, and tell Austin that I bet gumdrops would be GREAT in the chocolate fountain!
Lovely Gingerbread House. Just found your blog. I hope you get your referral soon!
That is the best looking ginger bread house I have EVER seen. Is it OK that my husband likes sugar as much as Austin does? Does Austin know my husband?
Ohhh....can I come be your kid for a day?!?! It's a beautiful gingerbread house! I can't wait to get my hands dirty with Cadence.
