Legoland was amazing. 10 cars in the parking lot, the whole park to ourselves. See what happens when rain is threatened in the forecast but never comes? We had a great day.
Ryleigh was tall enough to ride most of the rides, and it gave Austin a chance to go on the
roller coasters about 10 times on each one. That night we drove south to my friend Heidi's house in San Diego where we dined on Chinese food and played games of Taboo. What fun!

The next day, Saturday, we went to Sea World. Austin was really looking forward to Sea World and seeing all of the animals and sea creatures. The park is amazing and was also quite empty. The
orca's (my favorite) were amazing, which a tear jerking story about dreams and fulfilling them. I, of course, had a tear in my eye.

The best part of the day was when we went to the
Dolphin Encounter where you can feed the dolphins and touch them. Mark purchased a tray of fish ($5 for 4 fish) for Austin and
Ryleigh to feed the dolphins. One of the dolphins was weary of us, and a trainer came over and asked Austin to help her train the dolphin. She was new to the encounter and was brought over from the Navy. She was so beautiful, and learned fast that if she let Austin touch her, she got a fish. The trainer gave us a tray of about 30 fish to feed the dolphin. It was quite an experience for both children! I was in total awe!

Sunday we got up and headed back home. It was a long day in the car, with Mark and I stopping every so often to find geocaches along the way. We had such a great vacation, it was hard to come back to reality.

Weel I'm glad you came back because I'm stuck here in reality and you have to stay here with me. LOL. Austin is so lucky to have gotten to feed the dolphin. Boy was he in the right place at the right time or what???
