Friends

What would we all do without friends? I love my friends, but I especially love the friends that I've met through International adoption. These people are special people. Although we all ended up at the adoption option via different roads and pathways, we've all been through the same process (some not as far in as they would like but they will get there). No one understands the adoption process, until you've gone through it. I think a lot of people imagine what it is, but have no idea. I love these friends, like sisters, and their children like my own.

Today we had a get together at a great park in San Jose where there is a farm with adorable animals and chickens. Best of all, my friends Mary Mia, Lisa, Michelle, Donna, and our newest friend, Kasie met us there.

We had so much fun gabbing. Mark was able to come, the only husband there. My mom was able to go, which brought the attending grandparent count to FOUR! A record, I think! Enjoy the pics of my sister friends, and their adorable children. Michelle and Kasie - just think, your daughters are waiting, and we are waiting with you.....

God that was fun. I wish I lived closer. I love Gwen's expression in the kid pic. It looks like she was thinking "Just take the picture already!". LOL! I'm already looking forward to the next time I make it up this way.

What a wonderful bond indeed. You'll need to continue to take pictures of all the beloved babes as they get bigger, just like that. It'll be fun in a few years to see how much they've grown and changed. :)

So fun! Love that picture of Austin! BTW, Gracie now calls Austin er "boyfriend" and she totally bragged to Cameron that she got to play with him!
I'm coming down soon to do some geocaching!

This morning, Gwen and Maddy both exclaimed that they wanted to go to the park instead of school so they could see their friends! They love school so this is really saying something!

They had almost as much fun yesterday as I did! Honestly, I miss the company of other moms so much so this was a very special treat!

I loved seeing old friends and meeting Kayce. Just think -- in a few months, there will be two more kids looking all apathetic on that bench! ::::wink::::

Please let me know if you're up our way any time soon. We'd love to do this again!

Yes that was fun! I am so glad to be able to talk with others who understand and who have been through all of this, it helps SO much! Looking forward to another get together...maybe a mom get together should be thrown in there too! ;)
