I'm sorry to say, it just seems like there is no time. I know there is, but man, have we been busy.
Last Sunday we went to San Francisco to watch the Dragon Boat races on Treasure Island. That was so much FUN!!! We loved watching the dancing and racing, and eating, and doing crafts. Austin climbed higher on the rock climbing wall then ever before. He was very proud of himself, and we were proud of him.

After the dragon boat races we went over to Chinatown to locate Mooncakes for the Autumn Moon on Tuesday night. What a funny thing that was. They were having the festival and it was CRAZY. I dropped off Mark and my mom and they went to a bakery and had great success!!
We drove down Lombard street (the crooked street) for Austin, and around the wharf areas, then did a great cache in a public garden plot area. After that we drove south along the coast on Highway 1.

The highlight of the night (just kidding) was getting my wallet stolen out of my car in Santa Cruz. This was of course noticed on Monday morning when I was at work, and I was in full panic. I left work early and cancelled all the cards, went to the DMV, went to Target (with no cash, or credit cards, DUH) to get a new wallet, but lucky for me, I couldn't find one (since I didn't have a way to pay for it).
Tuesday night we ate mooncakes by the light of the full moon. Ryleigh said to the moon "Hello Moon" "Happy Moon".
This week has flown by. Austin has moved up a reading level to 1.9 and had another great week of good academics and strong friendships. He saved his friend on the playground from a bully, and that made me shine with pride.
Ryleigh continues to talk constantly. Did I ever mention on here that I thought we would have to have speech therapy for her because she only made the da da da sound for every word? Well, I guess I was just being premature. She certainly does not need it now.
Oh, today I was doing a MOUND of laundry, and my last load was whites. I open the washer door to put everything in the drier and out pops a big piece of Mooncake, yum, red bean flavor. Had to rewash the whites, and now I'm wondering "Who put the mooncake in their pocket?"
I hope everyone's Fall is going well.....

Hooray for Austin being a stand-up citizen. It takes a lot of self confidence to stand up to a bully.
And, Ryleigh on the giant bullet thing? ! The balance ! Amazing.
Oh it sounds like you guys have been having such wonderful adventures!! Love the pictures, as always, and the bullet-balance act by both of them really made me smile. Austin and Ryleigh are so dang cool!

Now that's one washing fiasco I haven't had yet! Can't believe we missed you at the festival -- we completely overlapped too!
