I know, I know, it's not much snow, but to us, who live on the Central Coast of California, it's a LOT!
It's been freezing here, and that's because it has snowed in the nearby mountains. It is such a wonderful joy to see snow on mountains near where we live.
Austin has only been to the snow once, and hated it because he wasn't prepared with gloves etc, so today we decided to drive out Carmel Valley to see the snow in the proper clothing!
Well, Austin wasn't feeling well, and wasn't his usual easy going self on the trip. We got out there and I had to bribe him for a couple pictures. We quickly turned around and headed back to town.
He had a high fever, and I felt bad, but is feeling great now...thank you TYLENOL!!!
We did have fun seeing (and driving in) the snow, though. It is so beautiful!

I think any amount of snow, when you live in a place where you don't get snow is exciting! It's been COLD down here in Southern California too!
Can you believe all the snow around? It is amazing. Too bad Austin wasn't feeling up to enjoying it. Poor guy. Hope he is feeling much better.
