Dying, Hunting, and all that....

We had a great weekend. We dyed eggs yesterday, and that was SOOO much fun. Ryleigh wanted us to draw a bike on each egg. Austin just wanted plain colored eggs. Very cute! We dyed 56 eggs, I think....

Having a taste...
Fiesta ware, not just for drinking out of, how about perfect egg dye matching???

In the morning we went to a local egg hunt. Ryleigh was a funny bunny. She went under the ropes (no help from adults allowed) and just kind of stared around her, then she started picking up eggs, abandoned her basket, gave eggs to other little kids, and it was all over in a heartbeat.... Austin walked away with about 10. Mark said that in their area, the kids cleared the field in about 2 minutes!

Today, Austin woke up and RAN outside to see if he could find eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny, to his disappointment, he didn't make it to our house yet....luckily, while Austin was RIGHT there, watching TV, the bunny went through our yard, hiding treats and eggs.... the kids went out hunting and found every last one of the eggs and also their baskets. Austin received Star Wars books and the movie Charlottes Web, and Ryleigh received a Dora book and a Snap n Style Linh (like Polly Pockets but for smaller hands).

Off to the beach for another egg hunt and a few hours with friends....so much fun this Easter with our family....

Love the pictures! What a busy day you guys had...I got tired just reading about all of your Easter activities! It's 30 degrees here in Chicago so we had to have an indoor egg hunt. Miss you guys! xo, The Kullmans
