Off to the pet store for me to pick up salamander food. That was 3 days ago. Yesterday they visited Austin's class all day. Today, we will let them go. They aren't eating the food, and we are worried. After all, they are wild amphibians...
Here's a cute one of Ryleigh....
The weather has been great this week, and yesterday we spent about 3 hours at the club at the pool...we joined a local athletic club and the kids are loving the pool. Ryleigh is not 100% comfortable, but is getting there. Austin can swim but doesn't have the confidence yet to go any deeper then where he can firmly stand (which is fine with me).
Next Saturday is the silent auction where my quilt will be sold for the school. I wonder if anyone will bid on it. We aren't going to the party, so I won't know. I might bid on it in advance though...maybe that will start some competition...
Mark is off fly fishing this morning. He got up at 3 something in the morning....it's opening day of trout season here in California (I guess). He was so happy playing with his fishing rod and all the little gadgets last night....
Off to start the weekend!!!

Such precious children you have. Their expressions are quite different when there are no veggies around. Ha!
Cameron wants to know if Austin can bring his friends to visit!
Wow, those are teeny little salamanders! Your kids are lucky to have a mom that lets the salamanders into the house! What fun!!!
That salamander is very cute! It's itsy bitsy! I'm sure your kidos were very excited to have the little visitors for a while!!
I had a salamander for about 3 days before my room stunk so bad that my mom made him find a new home (or rather go back to his old home by the lake). I also love Ryleigh's bows, but Sydney won't leave anything in her hair. Sigh.
