Austin was a little nervous this morning, but everything went well. We were promptly dismissed by Austin's teacher after the bell and their day began.
One unfortunate thing happened. Austin opened the wrong compartment on his backpack and thought his snack bags were his lunch and missed his lunch completely.
Tomorrow we are going to try riding the bus (well Austin is). I'm hoping it goes well for him. He's so excited to ride it.

Wow, first grade... (sob!) I can't believe he's growing up so fast, they all are. It's CRAZY - good thing we're not aging at the same rate. Hee. Sending good wishes for a fun bus ride.
