Riding the bus....

Riding the bus went great. For once, Austin was louder then Ryleigh this morning out of excitement. Mark said he was jumping up and down waiting for the bus. It was nice that his friend Alina was on the bus and saving him a spot up front.

This afternoon we walked down to get him and was happy to see that he got off at the right stop and was all in one piece. He said he sat in the bus with the "twentieth graders (meaning the big kids). I was very proud of him for riding and being brave.

P/S Did you know you have to pay for the school bus now? Maybe not all places, but here it's $180 a year!

Wait until you have to pay for more than one kid!

In CO..it's free...so far!

OK, tell me, did you follow the bus with the car????

(I admit, I did that with my first!!) Oh..the memories!

Wow! Look at that big first grader riding the bus. How Fun!

Here where I live here in Southern California, bus service for Elementary school is free, but you have to pay for Middle School and High School.

Hannah goes to a school totally not even in our district so taking the bus isn't even an option for her....I drive her everyday. :)
