Yesterday we went to see Thomas the Tank Engine in all of his blue glory. Austin had a "been there done that" attitude, but Nicholas (whom I babysit) and Chase had never been there before and were in love! We didn't actually ride on the "Thomas" train, but did take a pretty cool train to the parking lot and back. They had temporary tattoo's, a Lego Thomas, bouncey house, puppet/magic show, and more to do!
I'm not sure what the whole thing is with Thomas, but Austin used to LOVE him. I hope that Ryleigh does too because we have about $5000 (just kidding) invested in Thomas and his little friends!
A little stop at McDonalds (Del Taco for the adults) on the way back was a nice finishing touch to a "all boy" day!

Looks like tons of fun, even for the worldly, somewhat jaded 4 year old Austin. *grin*
We went to Happy Hollow today with the nieces and nephews -- thanks for the recommendation. They loved it and there were many tears when we had to tear them away. Great place. We'll definitely be buying season tickets once we come home with Funshine.
you babysit? I learn something new everyday! Were you at the movies yesterday (8/8?) Kim
Come to Pennsylvania and ride the "real" Thomas the Train.
