Ryleigh is all better....the croup didn't even turn into a snotty nose, what is up with that? She was a trooper throughout the whole thing, and the medicine that was given at the doctors office did the trick.
Yuriko leaves on Saturday. We will be very sad around our house after we say goodbye. She has been a real joy, and we have loved having her. We hope that someday Yuriko will come back to California (and bring her family) to visit us again! We have also enjoyed her friend, Yu. She has been coming over and spending the night and also having dinner and playing Yahtzee (the new Japanese phenomenon) with us.

Mark was gone to the Eastern Sierra's for some fly-fishing. He was in search of the elusive "golden trout" which turns out to be the size of a hamster, but he caught a bunch and had a great time none-the-less.

My mom and I have been doing some sewing. We made these adorable pajama's for Ryleigh and a set that is a little bigger with little daisies on them. I think they are SUPER cute with the little slippers all over them. We made matching jammies for her dolly's. I am not a pattern kind of girl, I am definitely a quilting kind of girl. My mom can read those patterns and figure out what comes next like a pro. I just push the material through the machine!

adorable PJ's! glad she is better and glad Austin had a great first day of school- amazing how they look so small that first day walking alone into the classroom, isn't it?......
The jams are the cutest!
Austin is starting to look like such a young MAN. Where's that little boy going?
I think the fish is cute. Should have had him mounted and hang him over the toilet paper roller or something. I suspect he would get lost above the mantle ;0)
That's ok, all is forgiven now that you've posted a whole bunch of pictures. :-)
(Loving that teeny trout pic. Oh wait, is it insulting to call it teeny? Petite? Aerodynamic?)
The jammies turned out so cute! I can't wait to see Dolly in hers!
I am glad Austin loves Kindergarten! How were you doing that first day?
Too funny about the small fish, also hesterical that he took the time to take a picture!
See you soon, I am having a bad week, (big surprise)..

The pj are really cute. As is the fish!
Kindergarten...wow that must be great for the big guy! Happy to hear that he liked it.
Keep smilin!
I am so glad to hear that Ryleigh is all better and that the rest of the Teague's are doing well.
Love the pic of the fish. We were just in the Keys and my hubby caught something out of the Ocean that was a distant cousin of your husbands trout - similar size..LOL
Mark,
May I say(as the wife of a fisherman) that is one of the most beautiful fish I have ever seen.
Well done!!!
Julie
My sister used to get the croup all the time - scary stuff. Glad Ryleigh's doin' better. And, those piggy-jam-jams!!! Sooo cute. I love jammies!
You are so talented! If you ever want to sell them, I'll buy them!! Bloglines said you hadn't had any post lately...hmmm. M3 said it did the same to her with my blog. wierd.
