Today we had a garage sale. They are EXHAUSTING! My mom worked all week on organizing stuff, Mark worked for weeks bringing stuff over from his moms house, and I didn't do a whole lot in getting ready. We were all up at 6am and people started coming at 6:30am. Some people sure are early birds!
Anyways, we made over $350. which is nice, but I wonder how many hours of work went into it and how much we each got paid per hour....I bet $1.00 an hour!

Congrats!! Every little bit earned helps, and $1 per hour is better than $0 per hour. I have been saying that I should have a garage sale, but as you stated, they are exhausting, and I am just too lazy for all that work. It is wonderful that your Mom was such a help to you.
