I think I might have mentioned a while back that Austin got some tadpoles from a pond in Carmel Valley. Well, two of them have been frogs for about 2 weeks....we still have about 8 tadpoles. Watching them grow has been so amazing. Austin has been very responsible about remembering to feed them in the morning after he eats his breakfast!
Austin is in with Grandma right now, I can hear her reading a book called "Just Add One Chinese Sister". It is a great book about a family with a little boy going to China to adopt a baby girl. Austin is very excited about Ryleigh, boy is he in for a suprise....lot's of pink in our house!
The knitting of the hats continues (at least on my moms end), we went to Walmart today to stock up on yarn. All my mom wants is a picture of the kids in the orphanage wearing the hats.
Sunday, we are going to go see the Monster Trucks in Salinas.....Austin is going to flip out!

The tadpoles sound very cool. I remember doing that when I was a kid--we had a little creek that ran behind our house and it was chock full of fun things to do.
Thanks for the book recommendation, we're putting together a list of kids books for the nieces and nephews so they can understand what's going on, and that one sounds like a good one. There's another one I wanted to get too, but not positive on the name. I think it was Love You Like Crazy Cakes.
