My mom, Gyll (Ryleigh's middle name will be the same too, oh and pronounced the same as Jill), is knitting hats for the babies in the orphanages in China. She is averaging about 2 hats every 3 days....
I'm knitting too, I've knitted 2 hats every 30 days, YIKES!!! Pitiful!
Mark and I will have to take the hats with us when we travel to China. Our agency C.C.A.I. has told us that by us carrying them, we will be able to insure that they get to the orphans, and not get lost in the mail. I hope my mom slows down a little bit, or by the time we travel in (hopefully) December, I won't have any room in my luggage for clothes!

Those hats are great! And dang your mom is FAST! I've been *trying* to knit a baby toy for about a month now and am making very little progress. It's kind of a multi-colored, happy looking snake, which sounds weird now that I type it but is actually very cute. Hey I know -- you and I can have a contest to see who's the slowest knitter. And the winner has to take the other one out to lunch. OK? Allright, I'm off! (to go watch tv...) ;-)
