Well, today we got our official Log in Date "LID" in China. Our Dossier (gobs and gobs of paperwork) arrived in China on April 7th, and was Logged in on April 22nd.
What does this mean?
Well, if trends continue the way they have with referrals, we will have a mid-November referral and travel around the New Year. If China "catches up" we might get the referral in October, who knows. I am a little bummed, but as everyone is telling me, fate is working for us to get the right baby: Ryleigh.
It is so hard to be patient......

This is so wonderful, you are almost there! I know that it is difficult to be patient, but just think, another step has been completed. Soon you will get the referral and put a face to the name Ryleigh! Hang in there.

First of all--Yay!!!!!!! Congratulations, you're officially on the clock now. Wow. I'm so excited for you. Anyone reading this, please have a glass of champagne tonight to celebrate with Stacey.
Second--it took them over a month to get your paperwork logged in and notify you of it? OMG! That's kind of sobering. Clearly I'm a neophyte, but I thought it would take about a week or 2. Instead--stop me here I'm doing math--I think it was an elapsed time of 5 weeks? Not counting however long it took from your door to theirs in the first place? Whoa. Better make that 2 glasses of champagne. ;-)
