I JUST knew it!!

You know, things always work out for us, but we always (usually) have a big bump before that happens.

Everyone has been asking me if we are super excited, how we are feeling, etc....well, I have been super calm, even calmer since we got packed....that is, until 5:04 pm tonight when I looked at Austin and realized he had some nice yellow pus coming out of both of his eyes. He has never had pinkeye, he is NEVER sick. Well, run off to the Doctors on Duty, get a prescription for eye drops for Austin, beg, plead and get a prescription for Mark and I just in case we end up with it in China.

I knew it, I just knew that something was going to happen like this. Usually my dog, Raven ends up having ass surgery because his anal glands get all fired up and abscessed...at least it's not that this time...our insurance covers Austin, not Raven.

Hope the pinkeye clears up...

Well, you knew good old Murphy would have to show up eventually! I hope this is the last of your bad luck though!

Have a safe and exciting journey! We'll be watching from the sidelines and cheering you on!

Smooth paths are very boring. It is the little ups and downs that add the spice of life. Sending good thoughts and lots of hugs for your trip to pick up your daughter. Grandma will take very good care of Austin. A lttle of ice cream with chocolate will definitely help.
