MMMM, I like rice like my big brother!

Today was a big day. We are officially the parents of Ryleigh and we have applied for her passport. We had the afternoon free, and went to dinner with three other wonderful couples. After dinner we had a party in the hall with most of the families that could be rounded up. It was so much fun!

We are really enjoying our travel group and will miss each family and their baby.

Ryleigh had a bath tonight, loved it, and is just blossoming. She loves to "get rough" and be tickled and thrown around. She finally ate some food tonight at dinner, mooching off of Zoey's congee (a rice porridge paste looking stuff) and had some of Mark's rice. AFter the party she was FIRED up! She was rolling around, laughing so hard, and was just silly!!!! BUT, as soon as we put her in the crib, she fell asleep. That's our girl!!

We are missing Austin terribly, and can't wait to come home!!!

(oh and I upgraded our Flickr, so click on the picture of rice chin over there and see more pictures from yesterday and today.

I LOVE the pictures! Ryleigh is just beyond beautiful! Dominic, of course, wants to know how the shoes work... Love the backlit pictures of you and Ryleigh by the window, and her smiling with her cups - you have some beautiful snapshots to start off Ryleigh's scrapbook!

Thank you! for posting your updates and photos...it's great to watch Ryleigh figure out the world with you two. I agree with Tiffany, the photos of you by the window are sublime. Must be your professional photographer!

I love the pictures! Thanks for taking the time to upload them!
I love that you gave her a bath in the sink! (I have been wondering why some others in China haven't been doing that!) It shows how tiny she is!
What size clothes is she wearing? It looks like everything you brought fits perfect!
I love the sqeaky shoes, I am glad you bought her some, I am sure Austin is wondering if they come in his size!
Have a good day today, Sounds like you are having a great adventure!
