Since we've been in Guangzhou we have walked around a little bit, and seen so many babies!!! I can't stop tearing up everytime we see one, and it's getting a little ridiculous, so now we're in our room, and away from all the cute babies. We are having so much fun with our travel group, and can't wait until tomorrow!!!
We have checked out the shopping, and it is going to be good, but seriously annoying!!! As soon as you start towards a store the workers are following you, as close as 1 foot, sometimes two people, sometimes three. It can be quite daunting, and it is actually getting easier to just ignore them, and browse. I bought some cute hair clippies for Ryleigh and did some haggling, got them down to about 1/2 the price that they were originally.
We had lunch, a sausage bun (kind of like a bagel dog) from the Deli Store and also had two cokes, it was about $4.00. We stopped at 7-11 for cokes back to the room, and a thing of oreo's and it was about $2.50 (if that). It is amazingly inexpensive here in China and the people work so hard!

I remember the sales people at some of those shops! Man, they WERE annoying. They not only follow you, but shove merchandise in your face continuously. It can be so distracting that you can't concentrate on who you have to buy gifts for, and you end up buying less than you would have. Unfortunately, I forgot my list of people to buy for which made the whole situation worse.
All things considered, sounds like you're having a great time!
