Or at least we smell that way.....
Tonight Mark and I went to a crab feast with 13 of my coworkers and friends....this its the second time I've gone and a first for Mark.
The evening started out well because you can only drink alcohol if you are 21 and they give you a wrist band if you are over 21. The gentleman who was carding looked at our group, and said to me "I need to see your I.D", well, last time we didnt' get carded, so I hadn't brought it. I said that I didn't have it and he said "No alcohol for you, you get a handstamp" I then explained that I am almost 40 and he said "WOW!!" Made me feel GREAT!!
The crab feast, put on by our local Portugease Hall is amazing. They feed over 1400 people in one evening all the crab, shrimp, garlic bread, wine and sherbet you can eat....and drink (if you look older then 21, hehe).....
We had a great time and we are STUFFED!

I got carded when buying a video game for one of the boys this Christmas!
I told the girl..."I could be your mother!" She just repeated, "I cannot sell you this game unless you have ID."
I acted upset but really was saying "Yahoo!" inside!
Isn't great at the end of our 30's that we are questioned?

That's hot! I haven't been carded in years. I think it's the massive crow's feet that have taken over my face. ;-) But you, girlie, are clearly glowing with youthful exuberance. (Must be all that good crab you eat... Hehe)

For some reason, I get carded at the Safeway across the street from my house all the time if I go in without makeup and my hair pulled up. Once they did it when I had the kids with me. Not only am I young, but I started pumping out the kids in my teens..
